With a high priority placed on the advancement of the individual and the firm, we actively encourage independent growth and professional development for every member of Fay Sharpe. Our minimum billable hours requirement is reasonable (1,800 per year) which can accommodate a successful career, as well as outside endeavors - whether it be family, hobbies or our ever popular Fay Sharpe sports teams.
For new lawyers, we provide mentoring opportunities as well as the ability to work with a variety of tenured associates and partners. Given a diversity of work, the new attorney can attain an accurate sense of which direction he/she wishes to take, in the development of a strong, focused IP practice.
We also believe that is it paramount to give back to the community. We support our staff in volunteer efforts and are proud to partner with several charitable organizations, including Harvest for Hunger, Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, United Way, American Cancer Society and American Diabetes Association.
